Home made: Vata, Pitta and Kapha Tea

According to Ayurveda, the doshas are biological energies found throughout the human body and mind. They govern all physical and mental processes and provide every living being with an individual blueprint for health and fulfillment. Normally balanced state of tridoshas is called health. Diet and lifestyle plays an important role for balancing your doshas (bodily humours). Inorganic tea and coffee is also cause of doshic imbalance. Instead we can prepare herbal tea in our kitchen for balancing our doshas. Ayurvedic herbal tea is a delicate mixture of authentic ayurvedic herbs for balancing doshas and to maintain natural functions of Vata, Pitta and Kapha in the body. You can drink tea according to your body type and doshic imbalance.
Here is the easy formula for preparing simple Vata-Pitta-Kapha tea in your home.

Vata Tea:

Ingredients:
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ajwain
  • 1 Cup water
Boil the water and add the above mentioned spices. When it boils well then turn off the light and lets wait for few minutes and add sweeteners as per your taste.
Pitta Tea
Ingredients:
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon fennel
  • ¼ rose petals
  • ¼ fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup water
Boil the water and add the above mentioned spices. Turn off the heat when it boils enough and cover for 5 minutes. Add sweeteners as per your taste.

Kapha Tea:

Ingredients:
  • ¼ teaspoon dry ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon dill seed
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seed
  • 1 cup water
Boil the water and add above spices in it. Turn off the heat when it boils and wait for 5 minutes. Add sweeteners as per your taste.
